Edra Irene Rambo, a resident of Henryetta, went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 29, 2010 at the age of 95. She was born May 27, 1915 to Henry and Virgie (Watkins) Morgan in Idabel, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Henryetta, a 50 year member of the Rebecca Lodge in Henryetta, the Home Extension in Okmulgee County, member of the Beta Sigma Phi Soriety, member of the Social Group and the Hanna Class at the First Baptist Church. She also was worked on the Election Board for Okmulgee County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Perry Rambo,Sr. in 1980 and son, Calvin Perry Rambo, Jr. in 1991. Survivors include her three daughters, Virgie Burton, Minnie Lewis and husband, Jim and Rosietta Pearson, all of Tulsa; one sister, Patsy Sue Craighead and husband, Bedie of San Antonio, Texas; eleven grandchildren, Jennifer Burton and husband, Leon Harvey, Julie Dabbieri and husband, Jonathan, Jeannette Ellis and husband, Bob, Jonathan Burton, Joel Burton and wife, Melissa, Jim Dee Lewis, Kenneth Chad Lewis, Kim Monahwee and husband, Mike, Lisa Hurt and husband, Larry, Rhonda Burgess and Gaylene Jacobs and husband, Keith; twenty-one great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Henryetta with Reverend Keith Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow the service at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta. Pallbearers will be Jim Lewis, Chad Lewis, Leon Harvey, Larry Hurt, Jonathan Burton, Joel Burton, Justin Burtin, Scott Green and Mike Youchum. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronald Lee, James Lee, Morris Palmer, Rick Irwin, Doyal Holladay and Bedie Craighead. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta.
