Edna Mae Neimeister

Edna Mae Neimeister age 90 passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at The Parke Assisted Living facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Edna was born June 11, 1920 in Marion, Ohio. She was the daughter of Grace Frances (Dixon) Briggs and Roland Jay Briggs. She married Donald Bailey Neimeister and while raising their family in Marion they were Youth Sponsors at Oakland EUB Church. As a couple they also were avid bowlers. Edna continued as an avid bowler after her husband's death up until she was stricken by a stroke at the age of 88. During those bowling years she bowled in many National tournaments and carried a 168 average.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents: Roland and Grace Briggs; her husband: Donald Bailey Neimeister (1982); her five half brothers: Jay Carroll Copeland, George Alben Copeland, Walter Clayton Copeland, Paul Ivan Copeland, Gerald Neely Copeland; her sister: Dorothy Irene Briggs-Welch and her daughter: Carole Irene Neimeister-Schwartz.
She is survived by her brother: Roland Verne Briggs; her two sons: Curtis Keith Neimeister of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Namon Todd Neimeister of Las Vegas, Nevada; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
