Edna Lorene (Beckham) Jones

Edna Lorene Jones age 97 passed away at her Glenpool residence on Friday, January 3, 2014 with loving family members by her side.

Edna was born October 27, 1917 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Joseph and Effie Beckham. She married Marvin Daniel Jones on September 11, 1947. Edna was a devoted homemaker who took care of her home. She liked to sew and travel in their RV. Edna was a dedicated wife, grandmother to her grandchildren and to her great grandchildren.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Effie Beckham, her son, Garland Ray Dalton and her brother, Louis Beckham.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Daniel Jones of Glenpool, her granddaughter, Deena Howeth and her husband, Greg of Glenpool, her great grandchildren, Matthew Howeth and his wife, Danika, Michael Howeth and his wife, Carlee along with other family members and friends.

Visitation is 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service.

Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Fairmount Cemetery, Hollis, Oklahoma.
