Edith Rebecca Trask

Edith Rebecca Trask age 96 passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at The Gardens Living Center in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Edith was born July 2, 1914 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to William Hines and Rosa Lee Trammell. She attended Union Public Schools. She married John Trask in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on April 2, 1938. Edith worked as a bookkeeper and retired from Tulsa Rubber Company. She attended First Methodist Church in Sapulpa. In 1972 she moved to the Jenks area. She was a very caring person; enjoyed doing yard work; and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents: William "Bill"and Rosa Hines; her husband: John Trask (July 20, 1994); her brothers: Albert and Harlan Hines.
She is survived by her daughters: Helen Kannady and Janice Flud; her sister: Ruth Burris; her grandchildren: David Kannady, Karen Mickle, Roger Flud, Anita Stevens along with thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous cousins; nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8th at Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Ron Baker will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
