Edgar Davis

Edgar "Glenn" Davis of Glenpool, OK went to be with the Lord Friday, August 1, 2003 at the age of 75. Mr. Davis was born April 3, 1928 in Scranton, Arkansas to George Barry Davis and Laura Elwanda Brown. Mr. Davis married Jane Beeler on December 17, 1946 in Tulare, California. Mr. Davis was a member of Glenwood Assembly of God Church in Sapulpa, OK and was retired from the Jenks Public School system as a brickmason. Mr. Davis in his spare time enjoyed picking pecans and gardening. Mr. Davis was preceeded in death by his father and mother, one son; Roger Davis, three bothers, and three sisters. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife; Jane of the home, three sons; Larry Davis and his wife Marilyn of Colorado Springs, CO., Scott Davis and his wife Debby of Thermopolis, WY, and Todd Davis of Glenpool, OK; one daughter, Diane Soper of Fairbanks, AK; one sister, Lorene Cress of Broken Arrow, OK; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A memorial service for Mr. Davis will be held 12:00 P.M. Monday, August 4, 2003 at Glenwood Assembly of God Church located at 1200 East Taft in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. There will be no visitation hours for Mr. Davis.
