Edward Lee Eddie Wright age 65 passed away at his residence in Glenpool, Oklahoma on Saturday, August 16, 2008.
Eddie was born in Marble City on July 18, 1943 to Ruebin and Clara (House) Wright. His parents died at an early age and Eddie was raised by both sets of grandparents: Sam and Lillie House and Jethy and Ada Wright. Eddie attended schools in Arvin, California. He was a roofer by trade. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing at Lee Creek in Arkansas. He was a volunteer for the Salvation Army. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family members.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents: Ruebin and Clara Wright; his grandparents: Jethy and Ada Wright and Sam and Lillie House.
Eddie is survived by his four daughters and son in-laws: Tammy and John Pinley of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Patricia and Kelly Lykins of Glenpool, Oklahoma; Jennifer and Charles Carpenter of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Tina Garber of Indiana; three brothers and their spouses: Jack and Betty Wright of Warner, Oklahoma; James Wright of Bakersfield, California and Steven Wright of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters and their spouses: Lou and Rob Harrison of Joplin, Missouri and Cathy Wright of California; his girl friend: Bonita Horne of Van Buren, Arkansas; mother's of his children: Karen Wright of Glenpool and Debbie Montemurro; his loving grandchildren: Tyler and Jacob Piney; Mariah, Haiden and Morgan Lykins, Austin Carpenter, Tiphanie Ellis, Wade and Laci Tucker, Hailey Pickle, Kaila, Mark Jr., Destiny, Trent and Ashleigh Thompson.
Visitation is Monday, August 18, 2008 from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services 2:00 Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel.
