Dylan Thomas Shafer

Dylan Thomas Shafer, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the age of 13. He was born Thursday, October 2, 1997 to Harold Shafer and Cameo Borowiecki in Reno, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harold Shafer, Jr. Survivors include his mother, Cameo Borowiecki and father, Harold “Gene” Shafer; three sisters, Elise Shafer, Jillian and Savannah Shafer of Okmulgee; grandmother, Mary Shafer of Okmulgee; grandmother, Marleena Cordis of Placerville, CA and grandfather, Robbin Pearson of Placerville, CA and numerous relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Town and Country Christian Church in Okmulgee. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Arrangements are under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Donations will be accepted for funeral expenses at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home 220 S. Alabama Okmulgee, OK 74447.
