Dr. Thomas Raymond Elliott

Dr. Thomas R. Elliott Jr., 71, died on January 2, 2019 in Tulsa, Ok. He was born on April 17, 1947 in Davenport, IA, to Dr. Thomas Raymond Elliott Sr. and Mary Alma Mizell Elliott. He married Diane Jerene Gray on August 11, 1967 in Tulsa, OK.

Coming from a long line of chiropractors, Dr. Elliott graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1972 and established his practice in Tulsa which he continued until his death. He used his creative ability to develop the Sonar Technique which is used today. He refused to retire due to his dedication to chiropractic and his love for his patients.

Tom enjoyed fishing with his buddies and boating with family and friends. He loved his church, had a great faith in God and did not hesitate to share his faith. He appreciated his surroundings and often said, "Look at the masterpiece God has painted for us today."

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom is survived by his wife Diane Jerene Elliott of 51 years; children: Thomas Elliott III, Christopher Elliott and Dr. Lori Sprague (fifth generation chiropractor); sister Carol Elliott Evans; 5 grandchildren and his loyal companion, Freckles.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 7th from 6-8 p.m. at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service, 5757 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa. Celebration of His Life will be led by Pastor Greg Riether on Tuesday, January 8th, 10 a.m. at Healing Grace Church 4818 E 80th St., Tulsa interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
