Dorothy Susan Blohm

Dorothy "Dori" Susan Blohm, née Snider, 65, of Jenks, Oklahoma, passed away suddenly on April 1, 2022.

Born on June 9, 1956, in Edmond, Oklahoma, Dori is remembered as the bright, strong, compassionate, beautiful, and kind person she was throughout her life. After graduating from Edmond Memorial High School, Dori attended Oklahoma State University (despite being a die-hard OU fan) where she met her future husband, Mark Blohm. The two began a relationship that led to a lifetime of faith and love, marrying in 1977. Two short years later, Dori gave birth to their first child. Over the next seven years, their family grew with the arrival of four more children. While raising five children, Dori graduated from law school at the University of Tulsa in 1989. She practiced law for the next 29 years.

In her work, she gave hope and change to people who were truly struggling and needed a hand up from the hands they were dealt. Dori was outgoing and friendly, her kindness and humor were often infectious, planting a smile on the face of everyone in her proximity. Dori cared deeply for other people - especially her family. She had an enormous heart that radiated unmitigated love for all.

Dori has now joined her parents, John "Joe" Joseph Snider Sr. and Harriet "Hepsie" Snider and her younger brother William "Bill" Snider. She is survived by her older brother John Joseph Snider Jr., her husband Mark Blohm, their five children: Emily Blohm, Wesley Blohm, Erin Clark, Katie Troutt, Jared Blohm, and nine grandchildren (with three more on the way). She will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Schaudt Glenpool Chapel. A Rosary will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Church of Saint Mary in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association.
