Dorothy Pauline Beatty

Dorothy Pauline Bennett Beatty, age 99, of Antlers, Oklahoma passed away November 27, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She was born August 2, 1922, in Faxon, Oklahoma to the late Collis Porter Bennett and Effie Day Ferguson Bennett.

She was known as "Polly" to her friends and family. Polly retired from the Pushmataha Hospital in Antlers, where she worked dispensing medications.

She loved to spend her time gardening, crocheting and enjoying all types of crafts such as painting, ceramics, quilting, and cooking. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and the time they spent with her each summer.

she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Osborne Beatty (1915 - 1959), whom she married at Ft. Sill on November 7, 1942; and her son, Phil Lewis Beatty (1947 - 2017).

Polly is survived by her daughter-in-law, Janice Marshall Beatty Eye; her granddaughter and husband, Meredith and Scott Selman; her grandson and wife, Phillip and Jana Beatty; her great-grandchildren, Lydia Selman, Claire Selman, Henry Selman, Grant Selman, Gage Selman, KK Beatty, and Emma Beatty.

A graveside service will be held at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, where she will be put to rest beside her husband.
