Dorothy Maxine Hankins, a resident of Morris, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the age of 87. She was born to Charles and Cora (Dunigan) Dodds in Drumright, Oklahoma. On June 11, 1945, she married W.F. Hankins. She was a very loving mother to her children and a dear wife. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother; three daughters and one son. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Bill Hankins of the home; two sons, Richard Hankins and wife, Sandy of Norman and Steve Hankins of Okmulgee; six daughters, Donna Hessom and husband, E.C. of Morris, Elaine Taylor of Okmulgee, Julie Pryor and husband, Larry of Okmulgee, Becky Bailey and husband, Rod of Council Hill, Rhonda Bernard of Okmulgee and Audra Britt and husband, Randy of Seminole; eighty grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee with Reverend Raymond Doke officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee
