Dorothy Marie Meyers McCraw, age 82, passed away on March 18, 2018, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Dorothy was born August 15, 1935 in Kellyville, Oklahoma to John Ralston and Hazel Friend Ralston. She attended Bristow Public Schools graduating from Bristow High School in 1953. After high school Dorothy married Bobby Dale Meyers of Cushing and resided there together for 25 years. To this union two sons, Robert and Ronald were born. Dorothy was an active member of the First Baptist Church and PTA along with many other community activities.
Dorothy married Connell McCraw of Tulsa on May 21st, 1994 and they were married 14 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Connell Mccraw and her parents, John and Hazel Ralston along with siblings John, Orville, Benny, Allen and Edna.
Dorothy is survived by her sons Robert Meyers and wife Diana of Cushing, as well as Ronald Meyers and wife Mary of Broken Arrow. Dorothy was a beloved grandmother to Robin Collier and her husband Levi of Cushing, Jacob Meyers and his wife Karisa of Claremore, Marcie Meyers of Lenexa, Kansas, Crystal Climer and her husband Eric of Edmond, Alicia Meyers of Oklahoma City, Jennifer Doneski and her husband Leon of Ft. Worth, Texas. Jill Cason of Bedford, Texas. Marla Clearwater and her husband Kevin of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the beloved great grandmother to Ivan and Clarice Collier, Davis and Mattie Meyers, Noah Doneski, Cameron Watson, Allison Watson and Megan Watson.
Dorothy was a real estate broker in the Cushing area where she owned and operated Dorothy Meyers Realtors, faithfully serving her clients for over 20 years. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening. She loved many types of flowers and everything she planted would flourish. She also loved working and making improvements to her farm. Dorothy loved life and gave God all the credit for her success.
A memorial service will be held April 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service.
Dorothy will be laid to rest at Magnolia Cemetery in Bristow, Oklahoma.
