Dorothy Mae (Brewer) Powell age 85 passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 at her Sapulpa, Oklahoma residence. Dorothy was born April 2, 1927 to O. W. Brewer and Julia (Simmons) Brewer in Terlton, Oklahoma. She graduated from Will Rogers High School with the Class of 1945. She married Robert Powell on September 4, 1946. Dorothy was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, painting and spending time with her family. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert (7-18-06). She is survived by her four sons Jim Powell and his wife, Rebecca of Aloha, Oregon, John W. Powell and his wife, Gayle of Hesperia, California, Bob Powell and his wife Voni of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Mike Powell and his wife Katrina of Grants Pass, Oregon, sisters Maxine Wright and her husband Jack of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Ollie and her husband Orlando of Dallas, Texas along with eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren other family members and friends. Memorial services will be 6:30 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
