Dorothy Irene Ries

Dorothy Irene (Edmonds) Ries age 86 passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at SouthCrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dorothy was born December 5, 1925 in Prague, Oklahoma to William Harrison Edmonds and Emma Elizabeth (Saunders) Edmonds. In 1946 she married Fredrick Ries in California. Dorothy was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents: William Harrison and Emma Edmonds and her husband, Fred Ries, her brothers: James Barney Edmonds, Harvey Edmonds, Jack Edmonds and her sister: Rose Marie Barrows. She is survived by her sisters: Laura Sneed of Oologah, Oklahoma and Ann Martin of Mounds, Oklahoma, several nieces and nephews along with many other family members. Visitation will be Friday, December 23, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2011 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service's Chapel. Private interment will be at Bixby Cemetery, Bixby, Oklahoma.
