Dorothy Ann Moore Funkhouser

Dorothy Ann Moore Funkhouser, 90 passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at her Tulsa residence. She was born May 12, 1925 in Rochester, Minnesota to Clyde and Bessie (Jondahl) Moore.

She graduated from Central High School in Tulsa in the Class of 1943. She also attended the University of Arizona and the University of Oklahoma.

Dorothy volunteered for the Pacer's (Philbrook) and other organizations for many years. She loved to travel, entertain, and care for her loving family. She cherished her numerous dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 43 years, Dr. Paul Funkhouser.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Robert Semple (Jacque), Leslie Day (Jed), Dee Dee Bernard (Chris), and Bill Funkhouser (Janet); twelve grandchildren and fif-teen great-grandchildren.

The family extends a special thank you to Nita Bloss, Dorothy's friend and caregiver for many years.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Saint Francis Hospice.

A private family interment was held Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.
