Dorothy Alene Thomas

Services to honor and celebrate the life of Dorothy Alene Thomas will be 1:00pm Tuesday January 29, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Sapulpa with Pastor Smokey Hurst officiating. Dorothy passed away with loving family by her side on January 24, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK., she was 75.

She was born on May 14, 1943 in Vernon, TX. She met the love of their life Charley B. Thomas and were married on June 15, 1967 in Dallas, Texas. She was a stay at home mother where she took great pride in caring for her family through her love of cooking. She loved to go garage sales on the weekends to find a "great deal". She would also be up for a good game of Scrabble or Yahtzee.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Smithson; her son, Brian Ray; her sisters, Fay, Joy, Dena and Teezy; her nephews, Curtis, Johnny, and Roger along with a great grandchild Jacob Ryan.

Dorothy leaves many loving memories with her family, she is survived by her husband Charley of Jenks, her daughters, Terry and her husband Greg of Jenks, Lisa and her husband David of Muskogee,her son Tim Ray and his partner George of Broken Arrow and Shiloh of Sapulpa, along with six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
