Donna Kaye Sinor was born April 23, 1951 in Pryor, OK to L. C and Jane Sinor. She attended school in Locust Grove and graduated from Pryor High School. She received her bachelors and masters degrees in elementary education from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, OK. She loved small children and taught kindergarten and first grade most of her career in the Tulsa area. Her pastimes were watching the Wheel of Fortune on TV and playing Keeno in Las Vegas.
Kaye lived 18 years in nursing facilities after suffering a stroke at age 50. We extend a thank you to the many nurses, doctors, and aides who have been part of Kaye’s care over the years.
Now she has joined her mama and daddy in heaven and is free from illness. Her surviving family includes her sister Lorretta and husband Charles Bertalot of Jenks and her brother L. C Sinor Jr. of Catoosa. She had nieces, nephews that included Lara and husband Randy Atherton and their children Rebecca and Rachel of Broken Arrow and also Kevin Bertalot and wife Ashley and their three children Brooklyn Bertalot and Austin and Wyatt Orman of Tulsa.
