Donald Ray Percefull, 83 of Tulsa, OK passed from this life peacefully at his home on July 11, 2014. Don was born in Chandler, OK on September 29, 1930. He was baptized in and attended First Baptist Church of Chandler. He graduated in 1948 from Chandler High School and later from Okmulgee Tech. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Navy stationed in the Philippinesas a Radioman Third Class (where his love of Morse code was born). He then came home to Chandler, married and eventually settled in Tulsa with his family. He spent his career in Aeronautics Inspection with many of those years at McDonald Douglas and Rockwell where he was involved in the NASA Space Shuttle and B-1 Bomber aircraft efforts. Don was a loving husband, father, brother and papa. One of his greatest joys was being Rebecca’s papa. He enjoyed playing golf and following the Oklahoma Sooners in football. Don is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Margaret Percefull; daughter Nancy Carlile and her husband Scott Carlile; most beloved granddaughter Rebecca Carlile; son Gary Percefull andbrother Percy Dale Percefull. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Andrew Percefull, mother Lula Elizabeth Percefull, son John Percefull, brothers Charles and Earl Percefull. Graveside Service, Tuesday, July 15 at 10a.m. at Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler, OK.
