Don Lindquist, Marine Veteran, age 77, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away with his loving family by his side, on Januay 3, 2021. Don was born in Lindsborg, Kansas, to Clemence and Virginia (Shute) Lindquist, both deceased. He was one of four children: Deloris Malm (Cork, both deceased; Delphine Proulx (Don, deceased); Darlene Peterson (Frank, deceased).
Don is survived by his wife, Kaye Sandefur Lindquist, Tulsa; one son, Nick Lindquist (Julie), Tulsa; two daughters, Lori Lindquist Brown (George), Collinsville, and Danna Roe Peterson (Scott), Mulvane, Kansas, and many adoring grandchildren.
He began his career as a Freelance Court Reporter, eventually opening his own firm of Lindquist Reporting Service, Tulsa, enjoying 20 years of success. Upon retirement, he spent summers at Grand Lake near Disney, relaxing, fishing with his son, enjoying his lake friends from Tulsa, and meeting many new local friends.
Words could never express our appreciation for the wonderful treatment, care, and love he received at the Claremore Veterans Center during his last years. We thank each and every one of you who made him feel like part of the Center’s family.
Due to COVID-19, there will be a private memorial service to Don, attended by immediate family members. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Azheimer's Foundation or SPCA in honor of Don.
