Donald P. Hodges

Donald P. Hodges passed away on January 3, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on October 6, 1934 to G.W. and Elva Mae Hodges. He's preceded in death by the love of his life, Marilyn, his parents, and sister, Joy Cross. He's survived by his children, Don Jr., David, wife Pat, Doug, wife Brenda, Darla Lane, husband Robert, Dorinda Alexander, husband Joe, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and his brother, Allan. Don and Marilyn moved to Glenpool, OK in 2007 to live with Darla and Robert. Don proudly served his country from 1953-1957 in the United States Air Force. His 40 plus years in radio began in Fairbanks, AK and he signed off the air in Muncie, IN. He always enjoyed a friendly competition whether Jeopardy or Scrabble. He was dedicated to serving the church including Grace Assembly of God (OKC) and Carbondale Assembly of God in Tulsa. Don loved his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ and lived his faith out every day.

Visitation will be held at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service, 719 E. 141st in Glenpool on Friday, Jan 6th, 4pm-7pm. Services will be 10am on Saturday at Carbondale Assembly of God and also a 2:30pm service at the Little Chapel of the Roses at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 500 S.W. 104th St., Oklahoma City.
