Donald Lee Wilson

Donald Lee Wilson, 79, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017, at his residence with family by his side.

Donald was born in Wickes, AR on April 3, 1938, son of the late Victoria Candice (Jacobs) and Herbert Wilson.

He served in the U.S. Army, after graduating from high school.
He was the husband of Roma Jean (Wise) Wilson. They have celebrated 40 years of marriage.

He worked as a Fireman at Tulsa Fire Department for 20+ years retiring in the early 1980’s. He was Owner/Operator of Don’s Utilities Service for 40+ years until his retirement in 2015 and a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors.

Don is preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Howard; brothers, Darrell, Eugene; twin brother, Ronald; granddaughter, Shea; grandson, Rodney.

He leaves many loving memories with his family; wife, Roma; daughter, Sherri Shaughnessy, and husband Patrick; son, Don Randy Wilson, two step daughters, Brenda Lyons and Teresa Foster; step son, Rocky Lyons and wife Linda Lyons; two sisters, Lillian Schiller and Lucille Woosley and husband Bob; grandchildren, Amanda, Jenna, Jacob, Brendan, Colin, Kenneth, Onaugh, Shane, Jason, Matthew, Misti, and Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Jeb, Drew, Grayson, Julian, Sophia, and Xander; as well as many other loving relatives and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service, 5757 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Ok with Bruce Butler officiating.
