Donald L. Hair, Sr.

Surrounded by loving family, Donald L. Hair, Sr., 63, of Okmulgee, OK, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 24, 2017.
Donald was born in Wichita Falls, TX on December 7, 1953 the son of Pauline (Grissom) and Leroy Hair.
He married his devoted wife Becky L (Hooten) Hair on October 8, 1993. Donald received extensive Heat and Air training and was a Master Carpenter, skills he learned from his dad’s business. Donald retired after 17 years as a Maintenance, Building and Grounds Worker for the City of Okmulgee.
Donald was a true outdoorsman as evidenced by his love for hunting, fishing, and animals, especially his German Shepherds. But ask anyone and his number one prized possession was his boat. He was instrumental in founding the OHBA, Oklahoma Hot Boat Association. Donald would rather be on his boat than anywhere else in the world.
Donald is survived by his wife Becky, son Donald Lee Hair, Jr. of Okmulgee, stepson Billy Anderson of Hot Springs, Arkansas, daughter Crissi Blevins (husband Ray) of Disney, sister Linda Meyers wife of Ed, grandchildren Leiam & Tori Blevins, nephews David Meyers, Dana Meyers and a great niece Karli Jordan.
Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 at Jubilee Christian Center, 12430 N 230 Road, Okmulgee OK with interment following in the Okmulgee Cemetery.
