Donald Hughes

Donald Hughes age 85 passed away at his Mounds, Oklahoma residence on Saturday, December 5, 2015.

Donald was born in Porum, Oklahoma on March 18, 1930 to Virgil Hughes and Jewel Powell Hughes. He married Betty Jo Musgrove and he worked as a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Jewell Hughes, his sister, Freda Stanley, his brother, Fred Hughes, Patty Yoccum and his granddaughter, Alisha Shipley.

Donald is survived by his wife, Betty Jo, his daughters, Diana Jones and her husband, Keith, Gloria Berryhill, Karen Hughes, his siblings, Kenneth Hughes (Jerry), Paul Hughes (June), Sue Hardesty (Jimmy), seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren along with other family members and friends.

Visitation is Tuesday, December 8th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service, 719 East 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9th at Oakwood Cemetery in Mounds, Oklahoma. Pastor Stacy Attebury will officiate.
