Donald Eugene Philliber

Donald "Don" Eugene Philliber was born August 6, 1941 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Oral and Mildred Philliber. Don passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at his residence in Broken Arrow with his loving family by his side. He grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Edison High School in 1959 and attended the University of Tulsa. He married Sharon Crutchfield May 10, 1963 at the Riverside Baptist Church in Tulsa. She was undoubtedly the love of his life and he cherished her every day. Don worked as an insurance adjuster for 31 years mostly with the American Modern Insurance Group. He cherished his family and participated in all activities related to his children and grandchildren. Don was very particular, neat, and organized in everything that he did. He was particularly fond of his coin collection.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, his son Darin Lance Philliber, and his brother-in-law Don Crutchfield. Don is survived by his wife Sharon of Broken Arrow; daughter Lori Jones and her husband Danny of Jenks; daughter-in-law Kori Philliber of Broken Arrow; brother-in-law Jake Crutchfield and his wife Brenda; sister-in-law Doris Crutchfield; and his grandchildren Kayleigh Jones of Jenks, Colby Jones of Jenks, Dylan Philliber of Broken Arrow, and Daegan Philliber of Broken Arrow; and many loving family members, friends, nieces and nephews.

The family has arranged a private graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.
