Donald Carpenter

Donald Carpenter passed away March 26, 2015 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born July 25, 1928 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Pearl Clint and Susie Rebecca (Campbell) Carpenter. Donald married Jewel Williams January 3, 1948 and they spent 53 years together. He worked as a pecan farmer and an iron worker. Donald was employed for many years by Bennett Steel.

Donald was a member of the Local Iron Workers Union #584, Broken Arrow Masonic Lodge #243, and the Akdar Shriner's in Tulsa.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He is survived by his daughter LaDonna Sue Mosteller (Donnie); 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service at Memorial Park in Tulsa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to the memorial fund at Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service. A memorial ceremony celebrating Donald's life will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in the chapel at Schaudt-Teel. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta.
