Don Lewis Lawson, of Broken Arrow, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at the age of 85. He was born September 1, 1934, in Pleasant Shade, Indiana, to parents Charley and Effie Lawson.
He spent his early years working in Detroit and Ponca City, before finally relocating to Broken Arrow, where he eventually retired from American Airlines.
Don loved visiting with friends, especially his McDonald’s group. He enjoyed movies and music shows.
Survivors include: his wife Donna; a step daughter, Linda Hoddy, and husband Dennis, of Ponca City; daughters, Angela Woosley, and husband Ken, of Kentucky, and Daphne Lawson, of California; grandchildren, Alisa Massey, of Lahoma, Derrick Humphries, of Lahoma, Chad Humphries, of Lahoma, Keith Woosley, of Kentucky, and Emmy Woosley, of Kentucky; and many great-grandchildren.
Don’s family would like to give a special thanks to Scooter, Chaplain Randy, and Bruce from Physician's Choice Hospice for all their compassion, love, and care.
