Dolores Margaret Hopp

Dolores (Wiskur) Hopp went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on July 22nd, 2022, 93 years old. She died in the Glenwood Skilled Nursing and Therapy Home in Glenpool, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, and her oldest son.

Dolores was born on May 10th, 1929 in Aurora, Illinois to parents Elizabeth (White) Wiskur and Paul Wiskur.

Dolores grew up in Aurora, graduating from Madonna High School. After high school, she was a secretary at a factory in Aurora and then she went to work for Doctor Parks, DDS. She then drove a school bus for special needs children for many years. After retiring, she went to work as a property manager for Globe Homes.

She married Donald J. Hopp on October 22nd, 1949. They had three children, Daniel, Debra and Douglas. She was blessed with two grandsons, Nathan and Justin Martinez and a great-granddaughter, Aubree Martinez. In addition to her children, she had many cousins, nieces and nephews.

After living a full life in Aurora and Batavia, Illinois, she spent the last two weeks of her life close to her daughter in Oklahoma.
