Diana Lynn (McDonald) Sweet age 32 passed away at her parents home in Glenpool on Saturday, May 22, 2010.
Diana was born January 25, 1978 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James David McDonald and Brenda Jean (Carter) McDonald. She graduated in 1996 from Glenpool High School. On July 19, 2003 Diana married Jerry Alan Sweet in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Diana continued her education at UCO and in 2007 she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. While in high school she participated in the high school choir; she played softball; she was a cheerleader and enjoyed photography. Diana liked white water rafting, traveling, spending time with her family and friends.
Diana was preceded in death by her grandparents: Betty McDonald, June and Burton Carter.
She is survived by her husband: Jerry Alan Sweet; her daughter: McKenzie Dawn Sweet; her parents: James and Brenda McDonald; her sisters: Andrea Martin; Brenda McDonald; Crystal Morris; her brother: Andrew McDonald along with other family members, numerous friends and acquaintances.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 29th, 2010 at the Faith Church Glenpool, Ok with Reverend David Archer officiating.
Family requests memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, Attention: Memorial Dept., 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TX 38105 (1-800-877-5833 ask for Memorial Department).
