Desmond Ray George (Triple D), 44 of Broken Arrow, Ok formerly of Battle Creek, MI, a (True Blue), kind hearted, generous, loving man passed away at home with wife Gloria and Fur Baby Girl, Athena George by his side. Desmond went to be with our Lord on Sunday, November 21, 2021 after a long struggle and fight with several medical illnesses.

Desmond was born: March 5th, 1977 in Amarillo (Plainview), Texas, the son of the Late Debra Jean (Watson) Tackett of Texas and the Late Eddie Lynn Tackett of Texas.

Desmond received his GED after attending Harper Creek High School, Class of 1996. Throughout Desmond's early years after High School, he worked at some local restaurants, golf courses, landscape companies, AC Foundry. In his later years Desmond taught himself, with the help of friends, the construction & roofing trade. Desmond was one of the few men locally to go too for advise on construction and/or roofing jobs. He took pride in his work. Always had his Grandpa's hammer with him on every job. During the last 6 years while fighting his illness Desmond tapered off on some of the love of his work to concentrate on fighting his illness & give back to his community. He still did a few jobs locally, he loved to help our senior citizens and the homeless. Linda, a homeowner in Battle Creek, asked me to tell you her roof is fine.

Desmond enjoyed the Oklahoma City Street Outlaw series (Got a chance to actually visit this shop in OK.), playing Texas Hold 'em, UFC fights, golf, tennis and basketball. He also loved the challenge of Chess as well as winning. Desmond enjoyed walking Athena and spending time with his wife.

Desmond is survived by his loving wife of 6 1/2 years, Gloria of Broken Arrow, OK & Fur Baby Athena; Mother-in-Law, Anita Mireles of Broken Arrow, OK; Grandpa Albert W. Baker of Amarillo, TX; Half brother Eddie Lynn Tackett, Jr. of Texas; Honorary brothers: Trent Owens, Josh Owens, Jay Owens, Spencer Owens, Steve (Dix) Doud and Tony Jackson all of MI; Step-son Ruben Michael (Shauna) of Broken Arrow, OK, Frank Villanueva (Ashley) of Tulsa, OK and his pride and joy step-grandchildren: Annie, Allie, Gabriel, Adrian Joaquin, Aaron, Elliot & Penelope Grace; Beloved various brother-in- laws, sister-in-laws, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
