Derek Alexander Sago

Derek Alexander Sago passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2023 at the age of 41 of natural causes.

Derek was born to Clayton Sago and Gerry Kauley on November 15, 1981 in Tulsa, OK.

His family is grieving his sudden death, but our faith and trust in the Lord is our comfort during this time. He touched the lives of those around him making them laugh and smile with his sense of humor and whity personality. He was loving, caring and a compassionate person.

Derek may have had some struggles but he lived life with a great sens of humor. He believed in God and was baptized last year. His faith in Jesus Christ got him through any difficult times.

Derek is survived by his girlfriend Anna Abelar, his mother, Gerry Kauley, siblings: Donovan, Danielle, Melanie, Kyle and Valicia. In addition to many cousins in Oklahoma and New Mexico.

The family would like to thank everyone who will pay respect to Derek in his passing. Thank you to family and friends that he shared his life with over the years. May he always bring a smile to your face when he crosses your mind.
