Dennis Neil Cramer

Dennis Neil Cramer passed away early Monday morning, July 6, 2015 at Clarehouse in Tulsa. He was born April 27, 1939 in Rochester, New York. He was the son of Neil and Ethel (Armstrong) Cramer. Dennis graduated from Churchville Chili Central High School in the Class of 1957 in upstate New York. He furthered his education at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. Dennis married Janette White on July 31, 1965. He was also a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary where he earned his Master's in Divinity.

Dennis loved mountain climbing during his younger years. He climbed both Mt. St. Helen's and Mt. Ranier. Dennis was athletic. He loved to walk, exercise, and play tennis and golf. He always had a desire to help people in need. Dennis was known for his giving and caring personality.

Dennis served as a pastor for 38 years in several independent non-denominational churches across the United States. He came to Tulsa in 2002 to be near his family. He pursued a career with St. John Hospice in 2003 where he worked until his retirement in June of 2008. Dennis and Janette were members of Church on the Move.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Janette Cramer; son Tim Cramer (Edie); daughter Theresa Cramer; grandchildren Madi and Brandon; and his sisters: Andrea Flack of Littleton, CO and Joanne Trovato (Ron) of Rochester, NY.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service at Memorial Park, 5757 S. Memorial Drive in Tulsa. Visitation is scheduled for 4-6 PM Sunday, July 12 and a funeral ceremony 10:00 AM Monday, July 13 both at the funeral home. A reception will follow next door in the Family Center at Memorial Park Cemetery.
