Denise Lynn Shelnut

Denise Lynn Shelnut age 40 passed away Monday, January 26, 2009 at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Denise was born February 6, 1968 in Boise City, Oklahoma to Henry Alderete and Sue Wayne Catlett. She worked as a homemaker. Denise moved to Glenpool in 1989 coming from Keyes, Oklahoma. She enjoyed taking pictures, scrap booking, traveling, watching movies and shopping. Denise married Mike Shelnut on July 9, 1994 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.   She is survived by her parents; her husband Mike; her step-son: Scott Shelnut of Glenpool; step-daughter: Debbie Robinson of Warren, MI; her brother: Darrel Alderete of Keyes; her sisters: Carolyn McGinnis of Texoma, Jackie Groves of Bowie, Texas along with her two dogs: Fancy and Sissy.
Family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the SPCA, 2910 Mohawk Blvd., Tulsa, Oklahoma 74110.
A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31st at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Mr. Damon Groves will officiate.
