Debra Ann Lanik

Debra Ann Lanik passed away at age 65, on February 18th, 2020. Debra had been battling chronic illness for many years prior to her passing.

Debbie was born on October 27, 1954, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Glenn and Kathleen Harris. She attended Tulsa Public Schools and graduated from Edison High School. She went on to attend some college courses and later worked as a dental hygienist for a short time. Debbie also worked in childcare, but spent the majority of her career time as a homemaker.

Debbie married Robert Lee Lanik on December 28, 1973. Debbie went from living a relatively comfortable life as a child, to experiencing military life her new husband. They learned to live on $400 a month, and found out that a budget was necessary to make ends meet.

Debbie was full of life and enjoyed making everyone around her happy. Debbie dedicated her life to her husband, and her children, and ensured that they had everything they needed, even in the trying days.

She was giving, forgiving, vibrant, and a beautiful soul to all who knew her.

Debbie is preceded in death by her father, mother, and husband.

She is survived by her Mama, Helen, of Bentonville, Arkansas; her son and daughter in law, Jason and Christina, of Collinsville, Oklahoma; her daughter, Renee, of Glenpool, Oklahoma; also three grandchildren, Arianna, Zaylan, and Ava.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service.
