Dean Harold Davis

Dean Harold Davis, 69, passed away Friday, November 26, 2004 at St. Johns Medical Center in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Mr. Davis was born May 13, 1935 to Jefferson Davis and Margaret Rose Pursinger in Sasakwa, Oklahoma and attended school in Wewoka. Mr. Davis met the love of his life, Doris Basquez, they were married August 6, 1955 in Wetumka, Oklahoma.
Mr. Davis was a plumbing contractor and owned Dean's Plumbing and Drain. He also was a lay pastor, enjoyed fishing, visiting with friends and always had a joke to share.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by both parents: Jefferson (Jeffrey) Davis and Margaret Rose Pursinger, his brother: Thomas Davis; sisters: Flosie Lane, Florene Troxell, Lorene May, Pat Ardizzone, Floreta Harrison and Lucia Spray. He is survived by his wife: Doris Basquez Davis; sons: Rick and his wife, Deborah Davis, Beggs, OK; Steve Davis, Jenks, OK, daughter: Rebecca Davis of Tulsa, OK; his brother: John Paul Davis and his wife, Pearl, of Hinton, Oklahoma . Mr. Davis Is survived by his precious grandchildren: Brandon and Belinda Coombs, Justin and Brandi Davis, Chad Davis, Jennifer Bishop, Whitney Davis, Lewis Bishop, Erica Davis, Michael Davis and a great grandchild, Benna Coombs.
Pallbearers will be: Justin Davis, Chad Davis, Lewis Bishop, Billy Evans, Tipton Evans, Matthew Randolph and Matt Pfeifer.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, Glenpool Oklahoma with the Reverend Jerry C. Johns officiating. Interment will take place at Bixby Cemetery immediately following the service.
