Dean William Daniel passed away on March 30th, 2024 at the age of 91. He went home peacefully - surrounded by loved ones in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Dean was born on May 12th,1932 in Lamar, Arkansas to Clyde and Pearl (Sparks) Daniel. On November the 8th, 1952, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Regina Rearick. For 70 years they built a beautiful life together. He was a banker and a community leader in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Coffeyville, Kansas and Lawton, Oklahoma. Dean was well respected in the places where he lived and was known for his compassionate heart, generous spirit, and empathy-guided leadership in his career and family. Dean was a "favorite" for many that knew him and he was a gifted investor - in both banking and in people. It was not uncommon for Dean to extend a helping hand for anyone in need - whether it be a neighbor, employee, family member, or a missionary overseas. Dean supported people with deep, emotional investment in their individual well-being.
Dean will be remembered for his unconditional love, gentle spirit, and steadfast presence in peoples' lives. He always saw the best in people, was quick to forgive, and held no record of wrongs.
To know Dean was to love him. He was loyal, wise, humorous, generous, humble, and kind. He was a bedrock for his large family with endless grace, a quiet laugh, loving tears, and an accepting heart big enough to let everyone in. His legacy continues through the countless lives that he touched.
Surviving to cherish his memory are two daughters, Debbie (Steve) Chancy of Edmond, and Janice (Richard) Andrews of Edmond, and daughter-in-law Donna Daniel of Broken Arrow. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Dan (Anetta) Chancy, David Chancy, Nathan Chancy, Rachel (Seth) Sanders, Elizabeth (Alex) Allen, Drew Daniel, and Chloe Daniel. Dean is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Hailey Andrews, Amos Sanders, Wren Sanders, Onyx Sanders, Noah Allen, Lillian Allen, and Forrest Allen, and one sister, Leona Maples. He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Daniel, his parents, his son Mark Daniel, and grandson, Matthew Andrews.
Dean was loved deeply by his family and he will be greatly missed until reunited together in Heaven.
Schaudt Funeral Service of Tulsa is providing services for Dean. Graveside services will be held 1:00pm, Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 South Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145.
