David Lee Layton, Jr. passed away on August 4. 2021 holding his loving daughters hand. Lee was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. February 1, 1959, he was the 3rd child of
Georgia and David Layton Sr.. Elder siblings include, Marain Turner-Fitch (Scott)
Louie Layton (Teri).
In 1987 the first of two children were born, a beautiful, happy daughter, Rachel Lee-Ann Layton (Keele), who was the light of his life. In 1990, Lee became a proud father of his first and only son, Dylan Harley Layton.
On July 18, 1998 Lee met and married the love his life Sheila Ann Ash. With this union, he welcomed three incredible step-children: Shawna, Angela, and Bud Bridges.
Lee loved nothing more than to be out riding a motorcycle. You could find him any given day, riding the open roads from one coast to another, With his best friends and Brothers Buddy Cagle and Younes Bassime. Those three fellas were inseparable, in good and bad times. Lee was a creative man, with the passion and skill for painting, and sketch work. He loved to watch western movies, especially any one that featured John Wayne. Lee also spent much time raising and playing with his two pups, Tuff and Dixie.
On June 6, 2005, Rachel had her first child making Lee a Grandpa, to his first grandson, Angel Lee-Evan Jackson. Followed by Lexi Nicole Bullett his first granddaughter, and then his youngest grandson Cayden Jospeh Keele. His son Dylan married and has 2 step children, Berlinn and London Heiner, Giving Lee a total of 5 amazing grandchildren. He loved everyone of them deeply and found great joy in being around them.
He is survived in by: his daughter Rachel (Aj) Keele, son Dylan (Danielle) Layton
his Sister Marian, his brother Louie, five grandchildren and his best friends Buddy and Younes.
Lee was a man who was known for his Love, sense of humor, and loyalty to his friends and family. Lee could make anyone smile and could fix a bad day with just one hug. He was on hell of a biker and one hell of man. Ride fast, ride hard, ride on. Til we ride with you again.
A Wake Service will be held from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM August 7, 2021 at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel.
