David Lee Daniels

David Lee Daniels died at home in Okmulgee, OK on Friday January 11, 2013. He was 78 years old. David was born in Morris, OK to Fred William and Alice Mae (Behrens) Daniels. David worked at Flo-Bend Inc. of Sand Springs as a machinist and then warehouse supervisor until his retirement. David was a member of the Cornerstone Four Square Church in Okmulgee. David was preceded in death by his parents Fred William Daniels Sr. and Alice Mae Daniels, a brother Fred William Daniels, Jr., a grandson Derick Eugene Daniels, a granddaughter Miche’l Nimrod, and his wife Karen A. Daniels. Survivors include children Randell Daniels and wife Trish, Renae Sweeten and husband Wesley, Mark Daniels and wife Cynthia, Euvah (Nimrod) Bryant and husband Steve, Elizabeth Nimrod, Sharon (Nimrod) Fortner and husband John, Daniel (Nimrod) Harder and wife Ariane; three brothers, Artemus Daniels, Martin Daniels and Raymond Daniels; four sisters, Rosemary (Daniels) Reed, Francis (Daniels) Whisman and Ellen (Daniels) Siseny; twenty-five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Honorary Pallbearers are Franklin Brown, Thomas Sweeten, Clifton Mills, Adam Daniels, Raymond Lynn Daniels, and John Daniels. Funeral services will at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee on 8th and Alabama. Viewings are Tuesday 1p.m. to 8p.m. and Wednesday 9a.m. to 1p.m.
