David Kent Williamson

David Kent Williams passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 at his home in Broken Arrow.

David was born October 28, 1936 to Joe and Maxine (Lierly) Williamson in Peoria, Illinois. David attend school in Peoria, IL., moving to Tulsa during his teenage years with his family.
David worked for many years in the appliance department in Sears. He founded the Williamson Service Company in 1969. David was very innovative and successful in operating his business servicing appliances.

He was a member of BA Elks Lodge, where he served as Chaplain & Trustee and the Akdar Shriner's

David was preceded in death by parents; his brother, Terrell Williamson; and his daughter, Tracy Williamson Scholes. He is survived by his wife, Joyce of the home; and three children: Cheryl Raines (Robert), Lorane Ridley, and DK Williamson Jr.; two granddaughters: Jennifer Scholes Miller (Jason) and Amanda Scholes; three great grandchildren: Matthew, Kylor, and Madalynne; and his sister, Marlene Tucker.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service Chapel.
