David John Tharp

David John Tharp Sr. passed away with loving family by his side on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the age of 63 years. David was born on May 3, 1960 in San Diego, California. to his parents, Nelson and LaVera (Miller) Tharp.

He is preceded in death by father, Nelson Tharp; mother, LaVera Tharp.

David leaves many loving memories with his family, sister Vera Lewis and Brenda Cooksey along with daughters Latisha and Christy and son David John Tharp Jr along with numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephew and great-great nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, one nephew and two nieces and grandmother Mable Williams.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Morris Cemetery with Pastor John Robertson officiating with a lunch to follow at Restore Church in Okmulgee.
