David Aught Kirby, 70, of Bixby, OK, was born in Nashville, TN on May 30, 1951, and peacefully went to be with Jesus on December 28, 2021.
He expressed his passionate love of others in his work as a pastor, college educator, and mental healthcare professional. His love of learning led him to earn two Master's degrees from Northeastern State University.
David is reunited with his father and mother, Fred and Clemmie Kirby, of Camden, SC. He is survived by wife Deborah, of Broken Arrow, OK; children David (Bryan) Kirby, of Southgate, MI; Jon Kirby and wife Pamela, of Tulsa, OK; Megan Tripp and husband Daniel, of Vanceborrow, NC; Blaine Kirby and wife Sarah, of Cove City, NC; Chad Taylor and wife Natalie Tucker, of Conifer, CO; Misty and husband Chad Peters, of Adair, OK; Clint Taylor and wife Chelsea, of Tulsa, OK; as well as nine grandchildren and three great granchildren.
A memorial service for David, officiated by the Rev. Danny Phillips, will be held on January 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at:

David will be sorely missed for, among many other attributes, his love of animals and his endless supply of "Dad jokes."
