Darlene Lillian Stewart

Darlene Lillian (Alexander) Stewart age 80 passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at her Bixby, Oklahoma residence. Darlene was born November 14, 1931 in Los Angeles, California to William Alexander and Opal (Cothran) Alexander. She attended Webster High School. Darlene was the co-owner of Ken's Transportation Company. She attended Disciples Village Church. Darlene was a talented artist painting landscapes and still life, and hand painting porcelain dolls. She was preceded in death by her parents William Alexander and Opal Wasson, stepfather Carl Wasson and one brother and one sister. She is survived by her children Darlinda Thrasher and her husband, Pat of Tulsa, her sons, Rob Pinkston and his wife, Charlotte of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Carl Pinkston of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Scott Stewart and his wife, Cindy of Bartlesville, Oklahoma along with eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces and cousins and many friends. Memorial services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at First Grace Church in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Aaron Hunter will officiate.
