Darlene Geniva Guillen

Darlene Guillen, 75, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, July 17th, 2023.

Darlene was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was a graduate of Valley High School. Upon finding the love of her life she was married, resided in Bernalillo, NM and co-owned/co-founded Guillen's Maintenance Service with her loving husband George Guillen. Darlene and George loved to coordinate gatherings with friends and family and would spare no expense to throw a party and ensure everyone had the best time. Darlene also spent a lot of time at car shows and going to the casino with her husband George. 

Upon George's untimely passing in 2002, Darlene moved to Pena Blanca to live with her daughter Anna and her son-in-law Joe. In May of 2014, Darlene Anna, Joe, and grandkids moved to Jenks, Oklahoma. While in Oklahoma, Darlene loved to keep up with current events, reading and although separated by several states, talked daily on the phone with her sister Ethel. Darlene also loved to play with her great grandchildren.

Darlene is survived by her three children, Anna Roybal (spouse Joe), George Guillen Jr. (spouse Monica), Lynn (spouse Michelle), sisters Ethel Culp and Vicki Melbihess, and sister in-law Clotilde Guillen.

Grandchildren: Jasmin Roybal (fiancée Colby Johnson), Sonia Roybal, Amber Deal (spouse Clayton), Briana Cooper (spouse Jordan), Erica Jaramillo (companion Ryon), and Amanda Jaramillo (companion Maddie).

Great Grandchildren: Emma Deal and Elijah Deal

Darlene's Life celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited Saturday, September 9th at 9:30am at Our Lady of sorrows Catholic Church located at 301 S Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM 87004. Mass will begin at 10:00m.
