Daphne Brucks

Daphne Dane Brucks was born April 7, 1942 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Lewis and Iris (Chronister) Greer. She passed away Wednesday evening, July 2, 2014 at Clarehouse in Tulsa. Daphne was articulate, smart, and had a great sense of humor. She was always interested in politics, particularly civil rights. She was an avid reader. Her favorites included suspence novels, thrillers, and biographies. Daphne was a very compassionate person that would do anything for anyone. These qualities contributed to a very successful career in healthcare where she worked as a patient representative and later a volunteer coordinator.

Daphne was preceded in death by two husbands Charles Brucks and Robert J. Morgan; and her mother Iris (Chronister) Greer. She is survived by her loving daughter Cathy Morgan; her stepson Russell Brucks and his wife Stephanie, along with their children Halle, Ethan, and Zoe; her sister Georgianne Jessen of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; and her close friends Liz Ross and Laura Conley.
