Danny Douglas Lawrence was born in Pampa, TX on October 13, 1952 to Douglas Milton Lawrence and Emerald June Simmons-Lawrence. Danny was the youngest of his siblings, David Lawrence and Susan Treece. Danny started his career working in the petroleum industry at Amoco Production Company in Tulsa, OK. He was a Senior Research Technologist in the tertiary oil recovery drilling area for deep well ships. He continued his career working at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, Core Labs in Houston, TX, and then retired back in Oklahoma at ConocoPhillips.
Danny was a humble, quiet, strong, and steady man of high character. He had a servant's heart and put others above himself. Danny was an excellent daddy-to-daughters. He was always kind, caring, and considerate. He was a peacemaker, tear-wiper, and expert at bandaging all wounds. He could be counted on to show up with wise and calming words even in the worst of situations and he was absolutely adored by his girls.
Danny met his wife, Debra Allison, in 1999 and fell in love with her immediately. They've been inseparable ever since. Danny felt lucky to gain her two sons as a part of his family and he loved them just like his own.
Danny passed away on May 23, 2023 with his family by his side. He was a resident of Claremore, OK at the time of his passing.
Danny leaves behind his best friend and beloved wife, Debra Allison-Lawrence. His daughters, Emily (Brian) Cunneen, Lauren (Tommy) Kimbrough, Brooke (Ilya) Kononchuk. His stepsons, Brian (Kira) Stroud and Jared (Sarah) Stroud. His grandchildren, Emerald Wilson, Michael & Riley Cunneen, Jackson Stroud, and Lazar & Ezra Kononchuk. His sister, Susan Treece and his sister-in-law, Gale Lawrence. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; all cherished.
