After the passing of his father in 2003, Dan moved to Antioch, CA in 2005 to care for his mother until her passing in 2016. Above all, Dan loved his children-Tina, Tara, and Tabitha-more than anything in the world. His greatest wish was for them to always know how much he loved them, and he made sure they were always cared for. His grandchildren-Anthony, Angelina, Elijah, and Eisle-were the light of his life, bringing him endless joy.
Dan is also survived by his loving siblings, Jaulene Meador and Michael Parmley, as well as his cherished nieces and nephews and his Aunt Joyce & Uncle Reynaldo Jaime and Uncle Emmett Baker.
Known for his caring and giving nature, Dan was a beloved figure in his neighborhood and affectionately referred to as "Mr. Dan," and he was always thoughtful, whether offering a kind word or a bottle of water to the mailman during their daily chats. His generosity and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Dan's warmth and love for all, and thoughtful spirit will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of love, generosity, and service will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
