Dale S. Mann

Dale Sidney Mann passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 at his home in Tulsa. He was born December 29, 1947 in Tahlequah to Henderson Lee and Oklahoma (Blackfox) Mann. Dale attended Oaks Indian Mission School where he was active in the football, basketball, and the baseball program. Athletics were always a big part of his life and he was always an avid Oklahoma Sooner fan. Dale coached his children in various sports throughout their childhood. He married Twyla Pittman on September 25, 1970 at Harvard Avenue Baptist Church in Siloam Springs. Dale loved music and playing the guitar. His favorite music included rock n' roll, classic country, and gospel. Elvis was his all time favorite artist. He and Twyla were part of a praise and worship team for many years at their church in Coweta. Dale loved his wife, his children, and his grandchildren with all of his heart.

Dale is survived by his wife Twyla; his children Tamara Smith and husband Brian, Kevin Mann, Jarrod Mann and wife Heather; his grandchildren Landon Smith, Noah Smith, Brooklyn Smith, John Mann, and Brady Mann; his brothers Milford Mann and wife Regina, Mike Mann and wife Judy, and Greg Mann.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Ronnie; his sister Sharon Jo; his niece Candy; and a twin brother and sister.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday at Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service in Tulsa with Chad Mann officiating. Eddie Moheng, Brian Smith, Tyler Hagood, Matt Dillman, Brock Smith, and Jarrod Mann will be serving as pallbearers. Committal service will follow in Oaks, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM Friday at the funeral home.
