Dale Lee Poston of Mounds, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the age of 60 years. He was born on April 20, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to his parents, Raymond and Patricia Poston.

Dale grew up in Owasso, where he attended Owasso schools. He proudly served his country in the National Guard for 6 years. Throughout his working career, he held the position of Superintendent General Contractor for Trigon Construction for nearly 20 years before joining The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, where he worked for another 7 years.

On April 15, 1986, Dale married the love of his life, Debra, at Owasso Faith Lutheran Church. Together, they raised four children.

Dale had a deep passion for his family and cherished spending time with them, especially at Beaver and Fort Gibson Lakes, where he enjoyed fishing and relaxing. An avid musician, he often strummed his guitar, sharing his love for music with those around him. One of his favorite songs, "Faithfully" by Journey, held a special place in his heart and was shared with his beloved wife, Debra.

In addition to music, Dale enjoyed riding dirt bikes with his family and was a devoted fan of hockey, particularly the Dallas Stars. He also had a strong faith in God, evident in his daily reading of the Bible and the Ten Commandments.

Despite being diagnosed with cancer on June 26, 2019, Dale remained strong and resilient, fighting the disease with unwavering determination. He beat it into remission once but continued to battle until his peaceful passing at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Dale is survived by his devoted wife of almost 38 years, Debra, his four children, Allen, Michelle, Sarah, and Joshua, eight grandchildren, Nicole, Holly, Jessica, James, Jacob, Nathan, Carlee, Harper, and one great-grandchild, Brayzlee, as well as his siblings, brother Mike Poston and sister Kelly Antle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Patricia Poston.

A Celebration of Dale's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Grace Lutheran Church (2331 E 5th Pl - Tulsa, OK 74104). The family requests that attendees wear their favorite band T-shirt in honor of Dale's love for music.
