Dale Hair was born and raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma, where he met his beloved wife, Patsy Taylor. After completing high school, Dale pursued higher education while playing sports, and he proudly graduated from Tulsa University in 1966. Following his graduation, Dale and his young bride moved to Oklahoma City, where he began his professional career.
In Oklahoma City, Dale built many enduring friendships. After ten years, he decided to leave the corporate world and return to Tulsa with his family. There, he established and managed his own insurance agency from 1977 until his retirement in 2012. Dale was known for his dedication to personal relationships and cherished interactions with his numerous friends and clients.
Dale was a man of many talents, excelling both as an athlete and an artist. He created six remarkable sketches of the churches he attended, from Honor Heights Methodist in Muskogee to Asbury United Methodist in Tulsa. His favorite sketches were those he lovingly left for his four granddaughters.
Beyond his professional life and artistic endeavors, Dale found joy in hunting and fishing at his "Happy Place" cabin in Ketchum. He was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to find happiness wherever he was. Dale treasured the moments spent playing games with his granddaughters, each of whom he lovingly nicknamed. He often expressed how blessed he felt to have a wonderful wife who made him a better man, two sons who made him immensely proud, two loving daughters-in-law, many dear friends, and, above all, his four perfect granddaughters.
Dale is survived by his devoted wife, Patsy Hair; his sons, Jason and his wife, Holley and Justin and his wife, Shannan; and his cherished granddaughters, Gracie, Cora, Hannah, and Katie.
