Dale Glenn Davis

May 2, 1960 — October 25, 2020

Dale Glenn Davis, of Glenpool, passed away on October 25, 2020 at the age of 60 with family by his side. Dale was born May 2, 1960, in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Richard and Verna Davis. He grew up in Artesia, New Mexico and later moved to Seneca, Missouri, where he graduated in 1978.

He moved to Tulsa in the 80’s and began his engineering career working for Qual Tron, Inc. He then worked for Tron Tek, Inc. in 1997 where he designed and built transmitters and receivers for several government agencies. He went to work for CRTS/Aegion in 2008 as an Electrical Engineering Supervisor.

Dale married the love of his life and best friend, Shelly, on May 3, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He lived life to the fullest and loved to travel, especially to Mexico and his home in Arizona, where he planned to retire. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends whether it be riding motorcycles, going to car races, camping, boating, playing darts or playing pool. He was quite the pool shark, he seldom lost a game.

Dale is survived by his wife Shelly Davis, his father, Richard Davis and wife Cindy of Sarcoxie, Missouri. Mother Verna Long and husband Larry of Joplin, Missouri. Three brothers; Darrel Davis of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Kim Davis (Hobbs) and wife Tammy of Lagrange, Texas, Rich Davis and wife Beth of Fredericksburg, Texas. Brother and sister-in-law Randy and Mindy Nickerson of Glenpool, Oklahoma. Nieces Sierra Knipe, Sidney Knipe and Terra Davis, nephews Blake Gonzales, Trevor Mills, Derek Davis and numerous other family members.

As an organ, eye, and tissue donor, Dale gave the most precious gift anyone could give, the gift to save the lives of others.

Dale was an avid supporter of our Military and participated every week in “RED Friday” which means honoring our military by wearing something red on Friday. In keeping with that tradition, the family would ask that everyone participate in honoring Dale and our Military by wearing “RED” at this celebration.
