Dale played the drums at Calvary Baptist Church and in the Nathan Hale High School marching band and graduated with the Class of 1970. He was a boy scout. He was a hard worker and began his first job as a young boy, with a paper route. Dale met his loving wife Vicki of 34 years, when they were both in junior high school. Dale was employed by Borden for 35 years and upon retirement, became an Uber driver. He enjoyed taking his family out on their boat and fishing. Dale had many hobbies that included woodworking, playing games, collecting antique clocks, and volunteering. His love of travel took him many places, New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Washington, D.C. One of his favorite travels was the band trip he took to Washington, D.C. Dale enjoyed cooking his signature dish, lasagna and baking yeast bread, snickerdoodles, and his famous mascarpone cookies. After his children were on their own, Dale gave back to the younger generation by volunteering his time at Foster Middle School as the President of the Quarterback Club, working the concessions, coaching both boys' and girls' basketball. The monies he helped raise helped to fund new uniforms for the athletes.
